About National Remodelers Charities
We believe home improvement should improve more than just houses — it should strengthen the entire community.
Connecting Craftsmanship to Community Through The Essential Trades Scholarship Program
At National Remodelers Charities (NRC), we've created a program that seamlessly connects homeowners, contractors, Essential Trade School Students, and charities. When a homeowner donates to support Essential Trade Schools Scholarships or a local charity, their contractor will match or double the amount donated in the form of a discount off the project price.
The result? Homeowners save more, contractors win more business, and trades students receive scholarships or charities receive vital support. It's a true Win-Win-Win built on trust, craftsmanship, and community care.
- Transparent donation tracking
- Vetted, Local & nationally recognized charities
- Local trade schools, colleges, and vocational schools
- Contractor accountability standards
- Real community impact reporting

Our Leadership
The dedicated leaders guiding National Remodelers Charities and advancing our mission to build stronger communities.

Thom Casebolt
Thom Casebolt is Founder & CEO of National Remodelers Charities Corporation (NRC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit uniting the construction and home improvement industry around charitable giving and skilled trades workforce development. Under his leadership, NRC operates a contractor-driven donation program, the Build the Trades Scholarship Drive, and industry partnerships like the Build the Trades Career Fair with Palm Beach State College — with operations spanning Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
Thom has spent more than 30 years building businesses in the home improvement industry through sales, marketing, and entrepreneurial leadership. His career began selling pots and pans door-to-door in high school and college — an experience that forged his skills in direct sales and closing deals. Since then, he has launched, built, and led multiple ventures, assembling high-performing sales teams and executing marketing campaigns across print, television, and direct mail that drove measurable growth at scale.
With deep knowledge of the home improvement industry and a career built on sales and marketing systems that scale, Thom is now channeling that expertise into building NRC into the largest giving platform in the industry.

Our Core Values
At the heart of NRC is a single mission: Supporting the Essential Trades — the carpenters, electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, welders, builders, automotive technicians, and marine trades professionals who keep our communities strong. Every decision we make is guided by a commitment to strengthening the skilled trades workforce and the neighborhoods where our contractors live and work. We hold our partners to the highest standards of craftsmanship, because we believe that quality work and charitable impact go hand in hand. Transparency is non-negotiable — donors, contractors, and trade schools all deserve clear, honest reporting on where every dollar goes and the difference it makes.
We welcome homeowners, contractors, and trade students of all backgrounds, and we measure our success not just in projects completed, but in scholarships funded, students graduated, and real-world outcomes reported and shared. Central to that mission is the Essential Trades Scholarship Program — connecting the next generation of skilled trades professionals with the funding they need to complete their training and build rewarding careers. Our long-term vision is a nationwide network where every remodeling project — no matter the size — becomes an opportunity to fund a trades student's education, give back to the community, and prove that doing good and doing great work are never in conflict.
